We delayed renovating our kitchen for many years because he had heard such terrible accounts from friends who had gone through the process. Also, we had two main areas of concern: 1) a small kitchen with a lot of angles; and 2) we wanted to save and reuse our granite countertops.
After talking to several companies in the area, we finally turned to a company formerly known as Oakleigh Cabinets and more recently Richland Cabinet Designs, Inc. Dan Johnson, president of the company, and his team worked countless hours designing our kitchen and giving us every item we had asked for.
We cannot say enough wonderful things about our whole team who worked so well together. The cabinets, native northern white ash and finished with Ivory Mist, are incredibly beautiful and perfect for my kitchen and home. The cabinets are so well-built and a detailed trim adds so much to the overall look of our kitchen.
The amazing part of the whole process was how perfectly our cabinets fit all the angles. Later, I discovered that Dan had made templates of my kitchen, laid them out on the shop floor one weekend and built each cabinet - one at a time. That is a dedication to perfection, and the client is the benefactor of this work.
The professionalism of the entire team made for a truly enjoyable renovation. This is a statement we never thought we would make when we decided to become involved with a kitchen makeover.
Richland Cabinets is a family owned and run business, and once you work with the family; Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, Dan, Dana and Troy, they very quickly become a part of your family.
